The biostimulant are mainly commercially available extracts from other materials, because of this, their properties vary widely. For example, the composition of the extract of algae is largely influenced by the species of seaweed.

Humic substances are extracts extracted from the soil, peat, coal and brown coal (coal which is formed by compression of peat) pair and which are processed to form humic acid. The active ingredients are presumably these phytohormones humic substances.

The use of bio-stimulants like any other new product on the lawn, must be carefully tested in small areas to adequately assess their impact on local conditions.
